I’ll be honest—Germany isn’t one of my favorite countries. But that doesn’t mean it’s without its treasures! I think my indifference comes from simply not having visited enough places there. For instance, I once went to Berlin with my 14-year-old cousin when I was just 16. Convincing her mom to let us go was a bit of a challenge (and a little concerning), but hey, we survived! It was her first big trip and first time on a plane, so I meticulously planned every detail. While Berlin didn’t quite capture my heart, my cousin had a blast.
