Türkiye

I recently solo travelled through Türkiye for 3 weeks — made some incredible friends and stumbled upon some seriously unbelievable sights.

But here’s the thing: I got so tired of seeing the same “top 10 places in Istanbul” everywhere — clearly written by people who either got paid for it or never actually went.

So I made it my mission — as a solo female traveller — to create the real, honest, and dare I say, perfect Istanbul travel guide.

Because yes, it’s easy to visit the viral spots... but they’re viral for a reason: paid promos, staged photos, and the same recommendations over and over.

So I did it differently.

I wandered the backstreets. I sat in the cafés. I ate at the little restaurants no one talks about.
And the ones I genuinely adored? Those made it into the guide.

Oh — and obviously, I had to make the whole guide practical and beautiful, so you, my fellow traveller, can explore Istanbul like a true adventurer — not a tourist on autopilot.

I know you want to find out more.

And what about the rest of Türkiye?

Well, I went to the famous Cappadocia — and yes, it was breathtaking.
But if I’m being honest... I do think it’s a little overhyped. (Still gorgeous, don’t come for me.)

After that, I made a completely random decision to head down to Kaş, a small seaside town.

I ended up falling in love with it — and this is where I wrote 90 percent of the Istanbul Travel Guide - with the salty air, the long hours by the beach, and making the kind of travel friends you remember forever.

And Izmir?
Historical. Mesmerising. Layered. It gives a little something to everyone.

So whether you're just dipping your toes into Istanbul, or you're ready for a deeper dive into the magic of Türkiye — you're in the right place.
